Whew! It was a scorcher at the Pound Ridge Farmer’s Market yesterday. Thanks to all the scone fans who stopped by in the heat, and welcome to all the newbies! I hope you enjoyed your visit to the scone stand. Let me know what you think of Mrs. Larkin’s goods. I love getting your feedback and hearing from the throng of scone-crazy people. Who knew a scone could bring out so much passion in folks? I didn’t, that’s for sure. And I am glad to squelch the uprising against hockey-puck-like scones. There’d be nothing scarier than a scone rebellion. Imagine the chaos? It would be sheer pandemonium. So if you want to contribute to world peace, stop by the scone stand this Father’s Day, June 15th, starting at 11:00 a.m. and get Dad a few tasty treats to enjoy on his big day. Now if I can only find more ways to reduce our carbon footprint….. Love, Mrs. Larkin P.S. Mrs. Larkin’s scones can be found at Near & Natural in Bedford Village, Rosie in New Canaan, and the Pound Ridge Shell station in Scotts Corners.
